Maine Event: Day 23

Today was a quiet day for life and a busy work day. The days are getting shorter which leaves us with less time to adventure after work. It was sunny with a high of 73° and this evening the wind is quite gusty and the giant trees are throwing their limbs to and fro. Tomorrow is predicted to have a 100% chance of rain. Rain here is rarely something that you don't want to go for a walk in and usually, we don't need an umbrella. It still feels like summer during the middle of the day but the nights are cooler and in the morning you can smell fall. 
I have a correction to make. The grapes (from our landlord) sure tasted like Concord grapes but there was a sign out that said they are 'Valiant'. So I looked up 'Valiant' and I'm even more confused. After a little research, they are similar to Concord in look and taste so I'm not totally crazy. Here is a link in the event that you are curious. It can be grown down to zone 2 or 3 and this is 5. And here is a link to a garden site for the kinds of grapes that can be grown here - in theory. 

Also, a beautiful trellis of cucumbers is also found in the Clark Street Community Garden.
