ME III: Rain!

It rained last night and it is raining now. It hasn't been nonstop but I seem to be damp a lot of the time. Another strange thing about temperature is that 64° in SF is cold and I need a hat, scarf, and jacket, 64° in Portland, ME is comfortable and if you go for a walk on flat ground you are sweaty. Yes, it's humidity but it is something else too. Today was a long day of work and meetings. Matt is carrying the bulk of it right now and working two jobs can be rough when there is pressure on both.

Portland is really a beautiful place. We had a nice dinner. It's raining. The jalepeños are hotter than back home - we made green salsa with local tiny purple tomatillos that I hunt down each year in SF farmers markets but they were available here at the people that grow all the different onion varieties.

Puddles! They either make me want to jump in them or look at them for beautiful reflections.

Community garden fence. Quite a fence. These look like our perennial morning glories but these are annuals.
