Day 33: ME IV

Today was a busy workday. One of us is in a giant metadata project and the other one is trying to get out a new book on Promoting Community Mental Health. It's in the final stages with so many moving pieces. The indexer is next, then the proofer. Ideally, everyone survives.

Good Morning gray day!

The disaster from Helene has been staying with me and my heart goes out to everyone in the Appalachians. I've heard wonderful stories of resilience and generous offers of mutual aid and funds. Here is a recommendation from Barbara Kingsolver who is safe and hunkered down with trees down and roads out. Here is more from the Blue Ridge Public Radio station. Climate change is going to affect all of us. Let us all be part of the solution.

Sending love and solidarity,

Tawnia
