Bootjack-Matt Davis-Rock Springs

Today we went on an old favorite hike that starts at Bootjack and you hike up the Matt Davis to Nora Trail, and then you arrive at the amazing West Point Inn. We had lunch on a picnic table looking up at the building and managed to chat up a few strangers and tell them about the cool rock display on the veranda. When we departed West Point Inn and walked on Rock Springs to Mountain Theatre and then down Bootjack to pick up the Spider Mite (aka the tiny red Fiat 500e). When we got back, we had house guests! Anita and Stu were out to visit. YAY.

Good Morning, beautiful!

Cool rock display
Serpentine, magic green stones everywhere
Lovely kitchen at West Point Inn!
To be a member of West Point Inn you need to volunteer for three events and then if you are charming enough and other members sponsor you then you can join. This is my next mountain to scale.
Serpentine!
