Sunday Sniffles

Today was the big parade, and in our neighborhood, it felt like there was no one home. No cars, no pedestrians (until later in the day). I thought I would go down with a friend and at least see the folks lining up for the Pride parade, and maybe make a stop by the ferry building. However, I was super itchy and sneezy and couldn't go on public transportation without people sending me eye-darts and moving away from me. We walked around the block a few times and napped, that sort of thing.

In better news, 100,000 people marched to celebrate Pride in Hungary this weekend, also defying their president. Despite threats that it would be criminally prosecuted.

Sending oodles of love,
