Anti-fear

We are in an unfortunate time in our history where the federal government is instilling fear in so many people. This means that people with brown skin are afraid to go places, to do things, to arrange their lives in a fulfilling way. Fear is a terrible thing, and it is contagious and noxious. I want everyone to feel loved and safe, and to live and contribute to their community. This seems like such a small ask. Also, if they simply figured out an immigration strategy and put it into place, we wouldn't have to do these darn theatricals.

Immigrants all throughout my life from many countries of the world have personally improved my life immeasurably.

I'm personally afraid of escalators. The little lines move back and forth across my eyes, blurring my vision and making it feel like they are moving sideways, and then LOOK at those teeth. They are totally out to get you. They look like weapons.

This is a Cottonwood. It's kind of regarded as a weed tree, but it is quintessentially a "tree" for me. Rarely planted on purpose and only by wild people who love the west. This one is on Broadway.
