Birds, Insects, and voting rights

Today was another beautiful day with an early morning walk and an evening walk after dinner. Work is steady and busy for both of us. We both have lots of meetings, which limit how much work can happen, but I suppose it strengthens communication, which is a lot of what is necessary on teams.

We recently passed the anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which made it illegal to deny the right to vote to any citizen based on their sex. I've been reading too much about the SAVE Act, which requires people to use a passport or a birth certificate to register or update their voter registration. They estimate that 69 million women have names that don't match their birth certificates, and 4 million men have names that don't. Also, getting a passport costs several hundred dollars and it takes time. This is a direct effort to reduce women's right to vote and will affect low-income people. Here is more about that.

He jumped about 8 inches and hid perfectly in the Rosemary! I also didn't know lizards could jump!
