Can't see the forest for the trees

There is so much news, and each day it seems worse. I want to say, let's take a deep breath and be really honest, there is so much that wasn't working before, let's use this time of chaos to create the kind of society and relationships we want.

Today was a busy workday, and we went out to the local pizza place. We are determined to eat at all the local restaurants at least once. We have the taco truck and the Indian restaurant in Lagunitas left. We aren't including Bolinas or Stinson Beach, as that area is for the first half of September.

It was a cold and foggy morning, but it ended up 80° in the afternoon. Lovely day.

Here is some nice rebel-rousing folk music from Hurray For the Riff Raff 'Ricon Beach', and here is their newest album, The Past Is Still Alive, which is a return to acoustic guitar. I'm fond of their early independent music. Anyway, enjoy.

Someday, it would be fun to go to the Old Western Saloon; it's no longer a hotel upstairs.
