City day!

Today felt like a regular Saturday at home. We walked on our weekend walk that in a roundabout way, ends up going by the Noe Farmers Market. We got yogurt and berries. Then home for chores and cooking. In the afternoon, I met my dear friend Lisa at Stable Cafe, which has a lovely outside garden and lots of plants inside, in addition to making good coffee and food if you are hungry. We walked back in a loop, and Lisa showed me a sweet Community Garden on a street I'd never even been on! Cities are so fun that way. Dearborn St. is just one block long between 17th and 18th and parallel to Valencia and Guerrero. Then more chores and cleaning, dinner, and our after-dinner walk. Days like this have a habit of disappearing - the time goes by so quick.

Neighborhood cat.

Pretty good use of your 8th Grade Weekly Planner
Kind of a nice detail on this old sort of industrial building
The flowers were glamorous, but there were gorgeous vegetables too.

Evening walking is nicer in the city.
