Snowbirds above us
Today was a day of chores - fitting cooking and getting ready for the week, along with grocery shopping, laundry, and cleaning, made for a super busy day.
Due to the Federal Shutdown, there were no Blue Angels for Fleet Week. Instead, we had the Canadian Snowbirds overhead, doing tricks, and while loud, not quite as much as the Blue Angels, at least from where we are located.
Unbelievable to me that Benioff is rooting for the National Guard to come to SF. Does he think that the Dreamforce attendees will love to have the military all around them? Does he think that will make them feel safe? What exactly does the National Guard do with the mentally ill, since there is no room at any of the institutions? Crime isn't very high, but there are unhoused people and unhinged people. The National Guard is unlikely to have solutions for those two groups of people. Also, if he needs more police to protect his Dreamforce people, he has the money to hire some.

Decorations for Halloween are popping up more each day. Meanwhile, we are having perfect weather. Supposedly, tomorrow there will be RAIN!
Have a fun day!
Sending oodles of love,
Tawnia
