the better to see you with

Today was beautifully sunny and a little cooler than yesterday. Work made for a busy day, with back-to-back meetings for most of it. At 3pm, I ducked out to get my eyes checked, as I've been feeling like I couldn't see as far as I used to and that I was getting increasingly myopic. My binoculars had to be changed to focus, and I thought, "Hmmm, maybe I should get checked". So I walked to the Castro to Eye Gotcha Optometric, turns out my eyes are healthy after a bunch of tests with fancy machines. (He said they have gotten significantly better in the last year or two). That said, I do need glasses, and they will arrive in a few weeks. I could easily pass the DMV drivers test, but I think this will help with casual bird watching and seeing detail in the treetops. So far, I'm reading without glasses, so we will see how this goes wearing them and taking them off to read.

Fog!
Feather Wreath!

I'm still really dilated, so everything is blurry.

Have a great night and remember to spend some time in nature.

Sending oodels of love,
