Vaccinated

Today, we got up early and went to get our flu and COVID-19 vaccines at Kaiser's walk-in clinic. There was no line, and we were helped right away. I asked if it was always so empty, and she laughed, saying we had arrived right after a rush of people.

Then we came home and worked, feeling slightly strange. We got really tired in the afternoon, but worked through it. Then I had a stomachache for a couple of hours. Dinner and a walk, and then a shower solved everything, and now I'm feeling pretty good.

Too busy working to pay much attention to the news, which is probably a good thing. The inhumanity of humanity always staggers me.

This is totally amazing to me. He must have come from across the kitchen, seeking green, which is all in my fridge, and climbed up the wall to this vintage Maine flag that hangs in our kitchen to hang out in the green! The intelligence of a snail! (We took him outside to be in some real green - instead of fabric green)

China doll tree (Radermachera sinica) is such a pretty tree. We learned about it on the SF pandemic tree tour. Take a look: https://www.sftrees.com/blog/2020/10/12/transmission-covidtreetour-10-11-20

Halloween is starting here too!
Fog is coming through the Golden Gate, going to Berkeley, I guess it's the end of the hot weather!
98.4% I guess last night was a Super Moon, what does it make this a superette moon?

Have a great day!

Sending oodles of love,

Tawnia
