Only one moon afterall

Today was a usual in-office day. Monday of Thanksgiving week, and lots of people are out or on their way out with suitcases in tow. It was another gorgeous day, although the air quality has been a little yucky. Probably because there is no wind to move it somewhere else. It's not terrible, but it's consistently in the 50-75 AQI, which makes me slightly sick.

Now that I'm wearing glasses for distance, I can see the moon or fine details far, far away, but I can no longer see what is in my viewfinder. It's the exact opposite problem I used to have and about the same level of blurriness, just swapped. I know I could take off my glasses, but by then my photo would be gone. Slowly, my eyes are getting better at seeing close up with the glasses on. For example, I can now read most things in normal light with only slight blurriness. Who knows, after another week or two, maybe it will all be fine.

Tomorrow, explore the world a little, it's different and kind of cool, before Thanksgiving. Just different.

Oh! I just heard that Dr. Nirav Shah (the former director of the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Maine CDC) and former principal deputy director of the U.S. CDC) is running for Governor of Maine!!!!!!
