Happy New Years Eve

Today was lovely and drizzly. I thought I was to go to work in a torrential downpour, but it turned out to be gentle. The way things get dramatized these days. Work was really quiet. There were not many people at the office, and I left around 2:30 to finish my day at home. BART was really quiet on the way in and just starting to heat up and be busier on my way home. There are yells and voices outside my walls now. I'm so thankful it is raining more.

Air quality is still so-so. Winter plus city living. They are expecting the king tide and storm surge to be worse than normal, with 2.2 feet above ground level in coastal areas. The SF Chronicle has an article about it.

I removed the showy part of the building so you can see the magnificence of the normal part.
This was an advert on BART for a law firm. Didn't get it.

Happy 2026! I hope it is joyful, healthy, powerful, and peaceful. At long last, the short in-between time is done, and we have arrived. Now our job is to get a good night's sleep and have a wonderful new year.

Here is a poem for you.

Sending oodles of love,

Tawnia
