Fish Nite
Today was another glorious, sunny day with blue skies and little white, fluffy clouds. There was a magnificent sunrise early, and I made it to work a little late because many birds distracted me on the way. Work was usual at the office. People are returning from their various vacations, and it feels like 2026 is off to a running start.
Today, after a long holiday pause, is when our fish CSA resumes! We get our fish on Wednesdays from Seaforager. They deliver to some addresses and have CSA drop points in a cooler in others. There was Coho Salmon, Red Cabbage Salad, and roasted Belgian endives. Perfect dinner.
The news is too full of things to squawk about, but there were lovely protests across the city in response to ICE killing the woman. Many people were commuting home with me to go to the one in downtown San Francisco. When I got out, there was a lively one at the 24th BART station. Many distractions to make for a late evening.
