Protest day

Worked until 2pm and then walked out to the protest day. It could have been better organized. I picked up a friend on the way and then attended the 4 pm rally. I much prefer a march, and even more, I like the work of changing the status quo way more than standing around yelling. But it was still good to be out with like-minded people. I walked back home through a circuitous route that stopped by a community garden, then hopped on the metro to get the rest of the way. At the protest, there were many good signs - I didn't get a picture of this, but a very small statured human had on a large Putin mask with a marionette of Trump.

Then came home and made a quick salad to accompany buckwheat crepes. Some filled with ham and cheese, and some with mushrooms and spinach.

Sunrise!
Many, many little birds in this tree
Struck me as funny
Nice detail
Sorel!
Outrageous stained glass window

7:21 am – 5:20 pm, which is 9 hours and 59 minutes of daylight!

Here is a poem for you.

Sending oodles of love,

Tawnia
