TGIF!!!

This week felt long for all kinds of reasons. I'm super glad it is the weekend and time to unwind a little. It was another beautiful day. It was chilly, but the sun, where you could find it, was warm.

I've also been thinking about inequality and how unhealthy it is for society. There is this wealth tax, which seems silly to me. However, what the effort is really driving at is real. Inequality is too much, and ordinary people are being squeezed too much. Health workers are bearing the brunt of poverty, and they are upset. The lack of a health system is a huge problem.

I feel like the protests are just getting started out here, but I'm very impressed with the people of Minneapolis out protesting in huge crowds, and it is clearly very cold. I've also been thinking about "Thou shalt not kill." I was raised with the concept that it was to be understood literally.
