Beautiful light rain
They call it a Pineapple Express because it starts near Hawaii and moves in a long, thin train of water that can hold a lot of rain and dump it rapidly due to its rapid pace. We are just at the edge of this; mostly it is north of us. However, it's nice that it is a warmer storm than recently, and the soft rain on the cheeks is rejuvenating. Today was brutal: 8.5 hours of meetings with a lunch break, and several of them were stressful. Nothing a nice dinner, a glass of wine, and a walk didn't fix.
This is news that is thought-provoking and scary.
And Willie Colon playing trombone, may he rest in peace.

The bird of the day is Bell's sparrow.
Here is a poem for you.
Sending oodles of love,
