Faster faster!

Today was a typical Monday. Busy morning and afternoon, but it calmed down enough to get a few things done. The Swedes are famous for their long summer holidays of 4 weeks and have come up with a lovely social innovation: Sourdough Hotels! Now that is thinking ahead! I do wonder what happens when they all hang out together and exchange through the air their sourdough molecules. Do they all start to taste the same?

Also, another article (perhaps better) on the faster charging batteries for EVs. Too bad about the lack of leadership around forward progress.

Here is some craziness to lighten things up (sound on).

Bashful California Towhee. These are endemic to Coastal California, more or less.
Summer!
Found in a tree square filled with weeds at 19th and Broadway. Maybe a foot tall, just enjoying itself.

The bird of the day is the Smooth-billed Ani.

Here is a poem for you.

Sending oodles of love,
