The return of the Big Fog

Today was another day with much whirling around, and towards the end, I got an hour or so to work on my own giant project that I'm slowly moving through. The Thursday crew is very small in number, and as a result, it is kind of a sweet, connected group, although I'm working on a couple I've yet to bring in closer. They are newer, and it will take a little longer.

We have a giant worm of fog that has taken over Twin Peaks and also the north part of the city, invaded downtown, and has tendrils coming around south of us, starting near Excelsior - then drawing near. The wind is icy cold, and everyone at the farmers' market was complaining. If you wear enough clothes and have something over your ears, it just leaves you with apples in your cheeks and shiny eyes. It's kind of lovely, and it is great weather for walking up hills.

Shocking revelation! Maybe we should work with nature in solidarity. Very cool story. (NPR)
