Maine Event: Day 6
Today hurricane Henri cooled the air and brought nice rain and a little wind. Even the wind and rain here at 65 degrees is warmer than the equivalent near the great air conditioner known as the Pacific. This afternoon around 4 pm when the rain had slowed we walked over a drawbridge by the working and slightly industrial Port of Portland. The drawbridge leads to South Portland we had a nice walk to the Bug Light Park which is a coastal natural area that leads to a small lighthouse.
So far everything is lovely.
The first two images are the view of two directions on Spring St. outside our front door. Our cross street is Clark (as in Lewis &... Lewis is the next street over :)

Gorgeous Hibiscus growing in a garden in the sidewalk planter.

This is part of the park and path that leads to the Bug Light we went to on our late afternoon walk
