Maine Event: Day 44
The excitement never ends. This morning when we awoke it was 46°F and wonder of wonders but the giant (chest high on me - about 4 feet tall) iron radiators were emitting a little warmth. It just took the chill off and made the morning a little nicer. It went off and gradually cooled off as the day warmed up. Good thing too because I was trying to figure out how to turn them off. We have the hickory nuts drying out on top of them. I know the radiator runs on oil - but what a civilized version of heat! I think it is warmer tonight so it is unlikely to come on again for a while.
As usual, we paid the garden a visit and the park bench. At the end of the workday, we went out for dinner at Wilson County Barbeque. It was a fun place to sit outside although a little chilly for wimpy me. We rarely eat BBQ so I can't tell you what kind I like - only what I don't this was Eastern North Carolina style which has too much vinegar. Originally we thought we were going to a brewery but decided we were hungry so ended up there.
I love that everything largely opens at 7 am. I'm going to see if I can't get some fish for dinner tomorrow. Yippee.

Environment for dinner... lots of people are eating inside here but we aren't comfortable with that yet. Luckily outside seating is plentiful.
