ME II: all work and no play...

It rained 1.3 inches in 5 hours last night and woke us up several times with the heavy downpour. It was raining when we got up and so we started work early instead of our morning walk, and then when it started to let up we walked to the farmer's market a little before 8am when the humidity was 97% but it was about 68° (I love a market that runs from 7-1 and is walking distance from where I live).

We started out in the rain and by the time we got there it had just stopped and it meant that the market was really quiet. A few farmers didn't come either so there were a few empty stalls. We got a smattering of things but most importantly we got Maine oysters from Emily's Oysters. She really is amazing so I recommend that you check out her site. It is Emily herself who is selling the oysters at the market. The oysters really are top-notch. I LOVE OYSTERS! Every time I eat them I get sort of giddy happy. It is like my happy drug and my source comes to the farmer's market two times a week! Boy am I happy!

The app is about 1/2 way out the door, the fight with Apple I'll take up tomorrow - no use fighting tired. Android has been submitted and is in review.

red cardinal hiding in a green tree
In the middle of the day when everything wasn't working or was stuck with other people, I went on a walk to the community garden and to Harbor View Park. It was declared a red day. This is the bottom of a very red cardinal hiding in the trees.
