ME II: boy it feels like Friday

But it is only Thursday... yesterday we submitted the SA app to Google Play and tried to submit it to iOS. Today Google Play is live and still, we have been fighting with the App Store. We tried at least 1000 things but we weren't allowed to submit. The screenshots you are required to submit were eternally "uploading" and, if not, "preparing". I emailed them and they said they would get back to me in a day or two; so I called them as they said the wait time was 1-2 minutes. The website interface asked me to put in my telephone number and said someone would call me in a few seconds are you ready? And indeed someone called me right away. It turns out that this is a universal problem and all developers are having this problem and that there is nothing I can do. I assured myself that what I was hearing was accurate and then I told the woman on the other end of the line that I could kiss her feet. It's so wonderful to know that it is someone else's problem! Plus, I made her laugh so hard that she almost fell out of her chair. She assured me that we would all get an email letting us know when it is fixed. Whew. That was a tough 24 hours of madly trying different things. Meanwhile, it was a glorious day today, cool enough I could wear my hat this evening. None of the highs in the next 10 days are planned to be in the 80's all are predicted to be in the 70's except on Labor Day which is predicted to have a high of 67°. The season has changed ever so slightly. Cross your fingers that the Apple developers/server people get this bug fixed asap!

After our day of wrestling trying to fix the iOS submission thinking it was something we had to fix..we decided to go out to Novare Res Bier Café for dinner. It's kind of off the beaten track but right downtown. It's kind of a hidden gem with an extensive beer list and food that goes with beer. We joked that the olives and sauerkraut were the only vegetables other than the green onions on the deviled eggs (which were delicious - why don't we make deviled eggs more often).
