ME II: crisp and clear
We awoke to a crystal clear day with a bit of a bite in the air. When on our early morning walk the wind kicked up and was blowing all the big trees around as if they were toy dolls. It's rather tricky to capture this superbly crystal clean feeling and the briskness in a photo but I tried. Then work. We wrapped up the day with a walk at sunset to the Western Prom with Karl and Rebecca and then went out to Fore Street Restaurant for dinner. It was spectacular. Great food, perfectly built environment, superb oysters (not from Emily's competitor), and very good service. We had three different kinds of oysters and clearly, we need to up our game in the opening department. Our favorites were Pemaquid Oysters that are grown on the Damariscotta River. The last time we got Emily's oysters I asked about river oysters and I guess they are more prone to even more diseases. It's late and I'm running low on sleep so I'll keep this short. The meal at Fore Street was truly memorable.

Have a warm and inviting evening.
Sending love, Tawnia
