ME II: Rainy day!

It was such a cozy, rainy day. The only thing missing was my sweetheart. I went early on a walk in the early gentle rain, and then during the day when I was working there was super heavy rain. It rained 2 inches and one of those inches was over 6 hours. They still seem to say we are in drought although we have had 45.5 inches of rain over the last year. It's all relative. It seems like it rains all the time to me. The air was super clean after the rainstorm and I walked with my friend RJ down to Trader Joes and got treated to a spectacular cloud show.

There was an interesting article in the NYT about how wildfires in California are erasing progress on clean air. It's worth reading as we all need to be thinking about how our actions are non respectful of our own desire to have a healthy life including clean water and air. If we are to continue polluting and so is "Mother Nature" well something has got to give. Maybe we just need to do less, go less. This is part of that thinking on over tourism. There are so many ways we are overing. Anyway, musings about ambient worries gets me only so far. Beauty takes me the rest of the way.
