ME II: white-breasted nuthatch
TGIF!! It was a regular busy day at work. At the end of the day, we went on a walk to see if the pharmacy near us was open and had the new vaccine booster. In the end, we realized that we needed to make an appointment - which we did for next Tuesday as we have a lot going on in the remainder of September. In the middle of the day, I got a picture of a white-breasted nuthatch - it's a little blurry because um I was on the ground and the iPhone's camera is only so good. We made a delicious lentil soup for dinner and ate the last of our lettuce and bread as sides. The winning ingredient was amaranth greens. They add benefit to whatever they are added to. My new favorite food or maybe it's my old-new favorite food. It was my favorite food as a child and in spring when we hadn't eaten anything fresh or green for a while my mother would turn me loose and I would go gather amaranth or lambs-quarter which was a weed. It's so tasty!

Have a sweet evening.
Sending love, Tawnia
