ME II: Rye & smoked fish party

It was a bright blue morning that was rather brisk. It felt good to be alive.

Work was a blur of a day with several meetings with a lot of moving parts. We are on another tight deadline for another app update due out this month and we kicked off the setting up activities and customization activities for the new database.

Then at the end of the day, Rosemary came over to share the Rugbrød that we made on the weekend. We had pickled radishes, cornichons, smoked Riga sprats, smoked herring, green onions, hard-boiled eggs, tzatziki, mustard, butter, and fermented hot sauce. We drank some hard and soft cider. Everything was excellent and the company was delightful. My usual rugbrød is 100% rye, this was good, but I prefer that. Although, this was easier to eat. :) I love little oily smoked fish. YUM.

Sunflowers in the garden...seems kind of miraculous while the temperature at night is in the 30s.
Cats of Portland.
My friend the Red Oak of Spring street.
Trees are starting to change here and there.
This is the spread minus the smoked fish which was just being opened.
Evening on the Western Prom.
Fuzzy half moon.

Have a delicious and fuzzy evening.

Sending love, Tawnia
