ME II: Stormy wonderful day...
It rained all night and all day. It was hard enough in the night that it woke us up. We went on a quick walk in the gentle rain in the morning and got utterly soaked. Then I was cold all day even though it wasn't a particularly cold storm. The daytime wind and torrential rain were intense, and the big trees were laying sideways and being tossed about. We received 2.5'' of rain but it felt like much more. Many leaves are now on the ground. The low was 56° and the high 65°. The rain stopped about 6pm and it was warm and kind of muggy. It made me feel like salamander weather. We have a few rain-free days coming up and then more rain on Monday. It's Friday so I'm keeping this short. Work is keeping me extra busy.
Here is an article about the flooding in Old Port. They are also reporting about 100,000 people in Maine have lost power from this wide-ranging storm.

Have an evening filled with beauty.
Sending love, Tawnia
