ME II: RAIN!

I love rain and it had such a wonderful lead-up where the trees were all talking and the birds were out. It was wonderful fluffy air and it pitter-patter rain during the day with gorgeous clouds and then during dinner, it started to really rain and it is supposed to be a several-day storm. We opted to stay in this evening so no beautiful night photos. The rain is cold and not as much fun to be in as summer rain.

Interesting article in the LA times about solar electricity and the different forces at play between local and centralized energy. Reading between the lines is advised with all newspapers.

This is really a storm cloud show. Nothing more really. What can I say?

Shortish bird list, but there were two Cooper's Hawks and a Peregrin!

  2. Herring Gull
  3. European Starling
  4. Peregrine Falcon
  5. Cooper’s hawk (2 today - one carrying a mouse or rat over the post office, another being chased by the crow patrol near the house)
  6. White-throated Sparrow
  7. Rock Pigeon
  8. Downy Woodpecker
  9. Black-capped chickadee
