ME II: last full day here...

Yesterday was so incredible it would be hard to have the last day be better. We mailed our last box home and cleaned out the fridge and have only little things left to stick in our bags in the morning. We have gone on several little walks around the neighborhood to say goodbye to all our usual spots. We had a nice afternoon walk along the Western Prom and got caught in a gentle rain. We crunched through the beautiful leaves filling the sidewalks and the smell of rain was magical. Said our goodbyes to Rosemary and to all our friends in Maine...we love you and please stay in touch.

It was downright balmy today almost like a warm version of SF to start off November in Maine. Today the low was 50° and the high was 63° pretty balmy and humid because it is raining on and off again. Across my news feed was that Mainers should expect higher energy prices, but a warmer winter could ease demand! Sure feels like that as of today.

Today's episode 7 of Maine by the Mile is covering Biddeford, which is south of Portland and once had a bakery, called Night Moves, that I wanted to go to but they are temporarily closed.
