ME III: Owl Time
It's still hot and muggy. This morning we had 70° and 90% humidity. That quickly heats up during the day to the high 80s but the humidity only dissipates a little. This evening it felt better as night fell due to a sweet little breeze and at 9pm it is 75° with 83% humidity. Early we walked down to see if our mail was set up to flow here but no go maybe in a week or so. We did enjoy the early walk downtown. We have so-so air quality. I think it is largely from the heat wave. Work is super intense right now and I'm hoping it will slow down soon.
We ended up taking the night mostly off and went to Novare Res, yes let's start a revolution, of some kind. They have upped their game around food and now there are vegetables including a salad. Last year we had a wonderful time here with Karl and Rebecca and the closest thing to a vegetable was cornichon, olives, or sauerkraut. We missed the boat to Peak's so went on a long walk instead. It was hot to walk but not unbearable and the breeze was lovely. It's downright shocking how much earlier it is getting dark. Tomorrow is hot again and then we have 10 days of rain (YAY! I love the weather).
Yesterday, Mexico at a national level decriminalized abortion. It was slowly being legalized state by state and then this was announced.

Good night sweet people and Happy Birthday to the many people in my orbit with birthdays in September.
Sending oodles of (tired) love,
Tawnia
