ME III: 4 more days...

Yes, it is truly unbelievable only 4 more days in this wonderful place, and good god it will be rather terrific to be home. It makes me almost salivate to think of it. Also boy is it chilly! The high today was 46° and the low was 38°. We both had busy work days and then walked down in the rain sans umbrella but in our little pufferettes to Fore Street Restaurant. It was deliciously fun and we arrived full of laughter and glee, had a wonderful meal, and then trundled back home in light rain. When it is this cold it kind of feels like I'm not wearing pants! Brrrr...maybe next year I'll wear wool pants or bring long underwear. We are just barely beginning to get packed up, we will do more on Thursday and then wrap up on Friday.

Here is another article where PFAs (forever chemicals) came up again. I don't think this will be the last we've heard of this and well it might go on for, well, forever.

Here are all the fun things you are missing out on for Halloween here in Portland, Maine. I'm sure there is more. This is one holiday that everyone seems to get excited about here.

I'm also really happy to see what is happening with the auto unions and the strategy behind UAW! The workers are really engaged and the youthful vim and vigor towards the size of the ask and the attack on CEO pay is refreshing.

Gray damp morning
The twin maples have nearly lost all their leaves.
Beautiful naked trees
This fire show is also done and sporting its winter coat.
My friend the red oak of Spring Street.

It was a beautiful rainy day.

Remember to do something fun.
