ME III: Quiet day + Oysters!

Today was downright hot. That said, it was not muggy and there was a delicious breeze to keep everything tolerable. The low was 50° and the high was 80° and this is the end of October! This is much warmer than last year. The rest of the week is expected to be much cooler. We slept in today and then went to the farmer's market. It's our last week so we only got a few things including apples, kale, lettuce, and oysters! They have drained the pond in Deering Park where they hold the market. Next week the market starts an hour later and then a month after that it moves to its winter market location further out.

If you thought scrub jays were the only risk-taking birds read about this bird that went 15,000 ft higher than normal, riding a hurricane for 700 miles.

Matt has been working virtually all day for Hesperian. I cleaned the house and started to organize things to get packed up. Tomorrow is likely to be more of the same.
