Today, we wrapped up a sweet trip to Mt. Desert Island and Acadia and drove back to Portland. The entire drive was filled with trees in glorious, colorful profusion. We arrived around noon and went about our daily lives, shopping, etc. Today marks the last week we are here - seven more days!

UGH!This lovely building that we have commented on for its amazing tile work is linked to Thomas Brackett ReedReed was an influential speaker of the house and a lifelong politician from Maine in the 1800s.
