Day 37: ME IV

FROG MAGIC!!! We went on two rainy walks and had a lovely day that ended with a fabulous dinner outside in a place with a nice garden and pond which was open to walk around in with some general guidelines that included joyously and spontaneously darting around. One of the walks a frog let us see it! There was such great beauty on that walk.

Good Morning Mount Desert Island!
Nice to wake up to islands out your door!
Walk number one was up to the peak of Acadia mountain
Lovely trail
Blue markers were super helpful sometimes to help you know where to go. The train is often granite and direction of trail not apparent
Fog and drizzle
Below is supposed to be a beautiful fjord.
Many boulders to climb up and down crevices to squeeze through.
Somes Fjord or Somes Sound...there is a dispute if it is really a Fjord or only a Fjard. Maine is so wonderfully humorous.
Decoration
Hike number two had many wonderful birds – and the frog!
Can. you spy the frog legs hiding. He was a beautiful little frog.
Little stream
beautiful Nectria cinnabarina fungi
Perfect dinner which included oysters, amazing garden salad, pork loin, squash puree, and green beans.
Good night little islands and all of you everywhere beyond.

Have an evening full of possibilities.

Sending love, Tawnia
