Divide Meadow

Today we walked to town on the beach and had breakfast at the Parkside, and then walked home along the road for variety. We went on a little walk to look at birds at Bear Valley out to Divide Meadow and back (just about 2.8 miles). We are learning so many new bird songs and seeing so many new birds because we learn their songs. I'm starting to think we need to carry super-light lawn chairs when we go on a hike so we can sit around in the forest and watch birds. We also went to Point Reyes Bookstore to browse and then bopped around for a bit. On our way home, we stopped by the Gospel Flats farm stand and got lettuce for a salad and strawberries for dessert.
