Happy Father's Day
Today was a zoo of people overrunning the small towns of Marin. Apparently, everyone has a pancake breakfast and a hike on Father's Day. We retreated from the crowds to Randall Trail, which is a magical 1000-foot incline straight up on a fire road to the Bolinas Ridge Trail. It was just us and a few very well-mannered mountain bikers. This is the beginning of a longer beloved trail, but today we went up and had lunch among the redwoods and then came down the same way. It was just over 4 miles round trip.
