Muddy Hollow

Today, we went on an old favorite hike that is a loop, starting and ending at the Muddy Hollow Trailhead. Several years ago, it was on the trail that we first met the Common Yellowthroat. Who says "witchy, witchy, witchy!" They are bright yellow birds with a Zorro-style mask. It's just shy of 8 miles, and many of those are miles of unrelenting wind. Luckily, we were lured on with delicious blackberries and the regular song of the Common Yellowthroat.

Yes this is the trail - parts of it were well full of plants - trails are not super well maintained do to cuts to staff.
