Remembrance

We went on one of our favorite hikes up Steep Ravine to Pantoll and then down the Matt Davis. You start in Stinson and finish there, too. It's 7.26 miles, and we have a perfectly sheltered location for lunch with a million-dollar view. One of the treats is that there is a 10-foot ladder on the Steep Ravine trail. It's so cool and old-fashioned. In the evening we all piled into a couple of outside tables at the Parkside for a lovely end of the day.

And then as the dusk came around a mother deer with two babies still with their spots on ran along the dune.
