Quiet re-entry day

Today we went on our usual weekend walk, which leads us to either the farmer's market or a cappuccino. Today, being Saturday, we visited our local farmer's market to purchase a few items for the week, including eggplant, artichokes, cherry tomatoes, and some berries. Then we met Karl and Rebecca at Soulva for lunch, and after a walk, we returned to our house for coffee and conversation. Other than that delightful interlude, there was much laundry and meal planning - preparations for the week. It's so exciting that the food is just starting to be summer food.

All those tiny specks are bees. These are part of the City Bees, I think, and you can buy different neighborhood honey at grocery stores.

Dinner was soba noodles, roasted eggplant, stir-fried green Jimmy Nardello (sweet chilies), edamame, garlic, ginger and some soy sauce and sesame oil, and seeds. Plus leftover chicken from Side Street Kitchen in Point Reyes and a salad, of course.

Hope you are having a great day!

Sending oodles of love,

Tawnia
