Happy Summer Solistice

Today is the first day of summer and the last day of vacation. The day feels endlessly long, and I'm so tired. It's the end of fabulously beautiful walks and the beginning of ordinary life. It's delicious to come back home, and I'm excited to sleep in my own bed in my own familiar and reduced scent environment. It's quite windy here too (sigh).

This evening we decided to go out and eat at a neighborhood restaurant called Firefly. They have a nice heated parklet, and they have something for everyone at a relatively affordable price.

Today, I thought that in addition to the usual pictures, we might go through all the warblers we learned or reviewed on this trip.
