Today was a beautiful day, weather-wise. Work is still busy, and the world feels like it is still on fire. I hate that so much is so polarized right now because it means no good solutions get untangled and rewoven to solve real, intractable problems

On a completely different note, here is a wonderful Wikipedia article on the Broadway-Spring Arcade building in LA. It has all new shops, but once housed the camera shop, I hear!

Isn't this stained glass water tank amazing? On my foot commute to work. I love Oakland sometimes. There are more around the country. Here is one in Brooklyn and one in Milwaukee. They are by artist Tom Fruin.
