Coyote Magic
We saw a teenage coyote by the roadside. It was clearly a case of coyote magic. This place is wonderful in all kinds of different lights and at different times of day. It's a treasure that is both reserved and open to the public. The willows sing my song. It was 80° today with gentle breezes. I was actually warm enough to wear a dress.
Right now, ICE is targeting both Berkeley and San Francisco in their top 10 list, and my heart is hurting because of how much suffering this will cause in all directions. Innocent people are being caught up in this nonsense. This is all political nonsense and a problem both parties have created and not wanted to solve. We are all addicted to people working for low wages; our entire system is wrapped up in this. To unentangle it is to raise prices and pay people more, and no one seems to want that.
We went to Gospel Flats after work for our vegetables and then out to the Tap Room in Inverness for low-brow sushi on paper plates with beer in plastic cups. It was delicious!

One on each side of the trail... (these are about as big as I am tall)

Have a great day and think about the world around you.
Sending oodles of love,
Tawnia
