Funday!
Today we slept in and then went out to Muddy Hollow for a hike. We arrived about 9 am, and as we passed Sky Trailhead, we noticed it was overflowing and had second thoughts. However, we were only the second car at Muddy Hollow. It was foggy and still cold, and I wimped out on going on the longer Estrero Trail because it has a long stretch towards the end that is always really windy and cold. It was where we met our first Common Yellowthroat, though. Instead, we went on the Muddy Hollow Trail to Limantour Beach, which is a lovely trail; round-trip, it is a little over 3 miles. Then we went to the Farmers Market and got some red things: tomatoes, strawberries, and raspberries. By then it had turned into a sunny hot day. At the house it said it was 82° !
Then we did little things around the house, made a nice dinner, and went on our usual walk to Divide Meadow. All around it was a near-perfect day. It's foggy and chilly again.

Have a wonderful weekend.
Sending oodles of love,
Tawnia
