Art mobiles
Last night we left the windows and door open to cool off the house, and it was chilly when we woke up. Ultimately, that meant it wasn't so hot in the afternoon. Today was our first work day from here. I spent the whole day working outside on the deck, and the internet seemed fine. It was shady and comfortable until around 4:30 or 5pm. It was 87° in the afternoon, but it's back down to 66° this evening. I will say that 66° here is much nicer than 66° in SF. We made a nice dinner, walked a few blocks downtown, and went grocery shopping.
The place we are staying in is almost perfect. It's lovely that it's not smoky this year.

These art mobiles, plus other kinds of creatures, are all along Florence Ave (a street near us). Here is another website on these, but more sculptures are likely to turn up here; they are so much fun. It's a collaboration of two artists, Patrick Amiot and Brigitte Laurent.

And before you go. Look at that night sky and listen to this. Happy Summer.
Have a wonderful day and drink some nice green tea - it's so soothing
Sending oodles of love.
