Sebastopol, CA
Well, we arrived in the midst of a heat wave. I mean, it was 81° in SF at 2pm. It was in the mid-90s on our drive with our windows open (AC eats battery in an EV). We arrived in Sebastopol, and it felt like an oasis of green and lots of shade. It was 92° when we arrived, and coming inside, the thermometer said 77°, but it felt cool and air-conditioned. We landed in a sweet spot, a true ADU including a regular kitchen (with a full-size fridge), a big bedroom, a bathroom, and it even includes a washer and dryer! The owner is nice - right next door, and there is a lot of privacy. There are trees surrounding the place. It's very sweet. We unpacked and had brought dinner, but ended up needing a walk, and went downtown and had dinner at the Fern Bar. The food was delicious, but virtually everything was over-salted. Then we walked to the nice river, and then back home. We are about 15 minutes from downtown.

This is a new place for both of us, so it's quite exciting and fun.
Sending oodles of love,
Tawnia
