Hale's Apple Orchard
Today we started as usual and went on our morning walk. Then we figured out our adventures for the day. We walked on the West County Regional Trail, which we could pick up close to our house, and it was just under a two-mile walk to Hale's Apple Orchard. At the Thursday Mission Farmers Market (close to our SF flat) there is a super cute old guy who sells apples, and it's from here! So we walked there and got Johnathans, Baldwins, and a new kind for us called an Ashmead's Kernal. We also got a kabocha squash and two large heirloom tomatoes. Then we came home to cool off. It was a high of 75°, but hot weather to walk in, and only a little breezy in some places. We did a few other errands and then had a chill day. We had dinner out at The Redwood, which is a really fun and very good restaurant that also sells natural wines. It's getting dark really early these days, and the clouds were starting to gather. Overall, an excellent day.
