Back in SF
Today was a great day. We worked, but it's still marvelous to be home and in the city. Where walking at night is normal, with sidewalks and streetlights. We are still getting set up, but we have a little food for the week ahead, and laundry is underway.
I've been thinking about how humans and the environment can work more seamlessly together and support one another, rather than having humans focus on themselves. One example of this is honey and the human relationship to bees. If managed well, they make enough honey to share, and we build supers that protect them. There are City Bees near us, and while the bee supers may not be as glamorous as the proper skeps, they do work better.
