Busy days!

Today was another day of back-to-back meetings with a break for lunch. I think tomorrow may be better. A couple of interesting ones, first was a panel discussion about OpenAI, which started as a nonprofit, and what that means when they take that public charitable investment and make it public. This is still being revealed, but it seems like there is now an OpenAI Foundation, which will be the largest foundation (with 130B in assets) in the US and only the second largest in the world! The real question is how independent it will be and how it will benefit society. The second interesting meeting was an internal review of a draft of a short book on coughing and breathing.
